Clara Crespin is a French artist expressing herself through painting, sculpture and engraving, but defining herself as a painter first and foremost. Her pictorial work lies between narrative figuration and lyrical abstraction. As a visual artist, she imagines paintings that question the viewer as much as the painter himself. A painter inhabited by an invisible force.
Clara Crespin studies Contemporary Art at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. Through her subjects such as fauna, flora or the ocean, she pays homage to nature in all its forms. The reaffirmation of her roots and the return to the sacred are the major themes that Clara Crespin invokes through her pictorial writings. Her paintings are the reflection of compositions that send us back to a world of colors, signs, symbols from which order and Life is born. An infinite restart that makes us travel to new worlds.
The diversity and richness of Clara Crespin's work has earned her numerous exhibitions in France, Paris, but also in Italy, Japan, China and Canada. She is also a member of the Taylor Foundation, the Salon des Beaux-arts, the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'eau, the Salon Comparison and the Salon des Artistes Français.
